HOW WE THINK ABOUT DEVELOPMENT
Most Systems Support Athletes at One Stage. Ours Supports Them at Every Stage.
The challenge in Indian sport is rarely talent. It is continuity. Athletes enter the system with ability and commitment and then face gaps. Gaps in funding. Gaps in mentorship. Gaps in structured training. And when competitive careers end, gaps in what comes next. Peace Sports Foundation was designed to close those gaps not through a single programme, but through a connected system of four programmes that work together across the entire lifecycle of a sporting professional.

PSF AARAMBH - Grassroots Talent Discovery Programme
Every Champion Began Somewhere. We Go to That Place First.
India’s sporting talent does not begin on well-funded urban courts or in established academies. It begins in village grounds, school fields, and community spaces where ability is visible but opportunity is absent. PSF Aarambh is our grassroots talent discovery programme, designed to identify sporting potential early before infrastructure, geography, or socio-economic background becomes a barrier to development.
Who it serves?
Athletes aged 8+ · Young sportspersons in rural and semi-urban geographies · Women athletes at grassroots level · Para-athletes and individuals with physical disabilities · Individuals with demonstrated interest regardless of prior formal training
What it delivers?
Structured talent identification through field assessments and scouting · First formal entry point into the PSF development ecosystem · Basic training orientation and introduction to disciplined sporting practice · Connection to PSF Nirmaan for athletes ready to progress · Documentation of athlete profiles for long-term tracking
PSF NIRMAAN - Athlete Development Programme
Potential Is the Beginning. Preparation Is the Work.
PSF Nirmaan is our core athlete development programme. It is where committed sporting individuals receive structured training, access to qualified coaching, competitive exposure, and the mentorship required to progress from early potential toward high-performance sport. Nirmaan meaning construction reflects exactly what this programme does. It constructs athletes. Not quickly. Not with shortcuts. But through disciplined, process-led development.
Primary sport?
Taekwondo India’s most structured Olympic combat sport pathway within PSF, backed by over a decade of field experience through Peace Taekwondo Academy
Development pipeline?
Boxing · Wrestling · Gymnastics (select disciplines) expansion is methodical and capability-led
Long-term goal?
Olympic representation for India in Taekwondo at the 2028 Los Angeles Games. An Olympic medal at the 2032 Brisbane Games.
PSF MARGDARSHAN - Coach & Mentor Development Programme
The Best Athletes Are Shaped by the Best Coaches. We Build Both.
PSF Margdarshan is our programme for coaches, mentors, referees, officials, and sports administrators. It provides structured professional development for the people who sustain the sporting ecosystem behind the scenes the professionals without whom no athlete can fulfil their potential. Margdarshan meaning guidance reflects exactly what this programme provides.
Who it serves?
Active and retired athletes transitioning into coaching · Existing coaches seeking professional development · Referees and officials seeking formal recognition · Sports administrators seeking structured capacity building
What it delivers?
Structured coaching education aligned with national and international standards · Mentorship from experienced coaches and sporting professionals · Pathways to formal certification and accreditation · Exposure to modern coaching methodologies and sports science · Institutional support for career growth beyond daily coaching
PSF PATHWAYS - Career & Ecosystem Transition Programme
A Sporting Career Does Not End. It Evolves.
PSF Pathways supports the transition of athletes and sports professionals into meaningful long-term roles within sport not as a consolation for a career that has ended, but as a continuation of a life built around sport in a new and equally purposeful form. The Foundation’s support does not end when a competitive career does.

Testimonials
Know what parents think about us
As a parent, my first concern was always my child’s safety and long-term wellbeing, not just their sporting results. PSF addressed both from the very beginning. The Foundation was transparent about its processes, clear about what they expected from the athlete, and consistent in communicating progress with us. My daughter has grown in confidence, discipline, and character through this programme. That matters to me far more than any ranking.
My son had talent but no direction. PSF gave him both a structured training environment and a vision for his future in sport that extended beyond just competing. The transparency and regular communication from the team has made us feel like partners in his development, not bystanders watching from a distance.
When my daughter first showed interest in sport, I had no idea how to find the right support for her. PSF not only identified her potential but explained every step of the development process to us as a family. We were never left wondering what was happening or why. The coaching has been excellent, but what has impressed me most is the care with which PSF looks after the whole athlete, not just their performance. That level of institutional responsibility is rare and deeply reassuring.
I was initially uncertain about committing my child to a structured sports programme at a young age. PSF took the time to address every concern I had honestly and without pressure. Watching my son thrive within the programme, not just as an athlete but as a young person developing discipline and purpose, has made that decision one I am proud of every day.
Para-athletes are identified, supported, and developed through the same structured programmes as all other athletes. PSF’s Paralympic countdown reflects our commitment to para-sport as a genuine performance goal not a gesture.
PSF Aarambh was built specifically to reach athletes in rural geographies and underserved communities where ability exists but access to structured opportunity does not.
Deliberate, structural emphasis on advancing women’s participation and leadership from grassroots identification through PSF Aarambh to post-competition leadership roles within PSF Pathways. Equal access to every stage of the development ecosystem.
BUILT FOR EVERYONE
Inclusion Is Not a Programme. It Is How Every Programme Is Built.
Peace Sports Foundation does not run separate initiatives for women athletes, para-athletes, or athletes from rural communities. We build inclusion into the architecture of every programme we deliver. Access to structured development should not depend on geography, gender, or ability.
